Françoise Hardy in Álbum da Canção
This magazine I bring you today is Álbum da Canção number 30, published in 1965. All magazine is dedicated to Françoise Hardy with many pictures inside.
When I started thinking about building this site in March last year, I had no idea how to do it. The only thing I knew I wanted to do was to share my magazine collection.
On a technical level, I knew very little, and how to do it also very little. So, I’ve been taking some courses that have helped me, and the ideas have been coming naturally.
One of the things that became clear to me very early on was that it would be important to interact with those who visit this site. The idea of bringing Françoise hardy to post came up through one of the followers of the Facebook page.
Álbum da Canção
The Agência Portuguesa de Revistas published the magazine Álbum da Canção between 1963 and 1968. They published 67 monthly magazines, and each one corresponds to a musician artist. Most of the magazines published are related to Portuguese artists, but international artists have also appeared. All magazines are 32 pages long and contain numerous pictures.
In the first pages of this magazine we can see the artist’s biography.

The artist says that what drives her to write as she does is her loneliness during her childhood. She was isolated within her family. At school, she had only 2 or 3 companions who only exchanged impressions that had to do with her studies.
Some pages are dedicated to song lyrics.
Françoise Hardy is in Greece shooting the film “Une balle au coeur“, directed by Jean-Daniel Pollet. The main characters in the film are Françoise Hardy, Sami Frey and Jenny Karezi.
Her fiancé, Jean-Marie Périer, came along to spend a few days on holiday.
