Álbum dos Artistas is a publication dedicated to actors and actresses. Two volumes came out. The first volume publishes ten issues, each issue tells the life story of three actors. The second volume, published between 1957 and 1958, has 50 issues, each issue tells the story of an artist’s life.

Brigitte Bardot, French photo model, film actress, and singer, 28 September 1934, Paris, France.
She began her career in 1949 as a photo model but was soon noticed by the film director Roger Vadim (to whom she was later married), and with his help, she broke into the film industry, which was then booming in Europe. Over the next two decades, she starred in 54 films.
Alongside Marilyn Monroe, she was one of the most famous sex symbols of the 1950s and 1960s and one of the few European stars to achieve recognition in the United States during this period. She is credited with popularising the bikini in Europe and was named one of the 100 sexiest movie stars by the editors of Empire magazine in 2007.
